Individual Course
An individual soldier/security officer is part of a security system/combat unit. The individual fighter must know how to work in cooperation with the entire security system, and often, he is the first and sole responder to a security incident and actually functions as a complete security unit.
The course focuses on the individual fighter’s foundations for combat, and includes:
Training for quick decision making, and preparedness in pressured times
Functioning of the individual in a security team
Understanding the work environment and possible threats
Providing solutions for various combat situations
The course is modular and tailored for the specific needs of each security unit.
Training topics:
1. Foundations of krav maga
a. Attacks by means of hands and feet
b. Defense in the face of a stick or knife
c. Neutralizing an attacker on the ground
d. Defense in the face of multiple attackers
e. Target exercises to delineate the work of the security officer/soldier
2. Basic Training – Foundations of Combat with a handgun/rifle
a. Understanding properties of handgun
b. Principles of handgun shooting –shooting with one hand, shooting with two hands, and drawing
c. Shooting with a handgun in various firing positions – after running and breaking, shooting crouched from above or beside shelter
d. Firing at multiple targets
e. Firing under time pressure and deliberate shooting
f. Overcoming jams and changing magazines
g. Becoming familiar with the characteristics of rifles
h. Principles of sharpshooting, firing tight shot groups, and rifle calibration
i. Deliberate firing
j. Various firing positions, and at targets in varying ranges
k. Firing above and beside shelters
l. Firing under time pressure and after effort
